Giving can and should be done in the right spirit with pure motives. It should not be merely a legalistic fulfillment of a duty.

We can use money wisely for God's glory. Sadly, many let the love of money take Jesus’ rightful place at the center of their lives.

Christ and money cannot both be the center of one’s life. Christ alone is Lord, and he will not share that throne with another.
