Everyone experiences hardships and difficulties. These are occasions for God to accomplish what only He can do in, for, and through us.

Whatever hardships we endure in this life, they do not compare to the incomparable joy God has planned for His children eternally.

As Paul did, we may pray for God to remove thorns from our lives. He may or may not do so. Anything is a blessing that makes us pray.
